I saw my first El Capitan calves yesterday at Arndt Farms in WI.  I know why everyone says they like them.  Exceptional muscle shape and style on the calves!

Here's what we're getting from field reports for awesome calves...(in no particular order)......

My Turn, Smooth Sailing, Monopoly/Headliner/All Aboard (all full brothers), Immortal, Carnac, Dirty Harry, Eye Candy, Point Taken, Sun Seeker, Apollo, Milk Man, Hired Man, Jigsaw, QDog, Unforgiven, Paddy O Malley, Hollywood, Shiver, Gigolo Joe.

% Simmy bulls to use...Echo, SOS, Foreman, Mo Magic/Triumph, Mamas Boy/King Meyer & Encore.

We're excited to hear how the calves are out of smoke bulls Tin Man & Orange Crush too.

I'd expect new bulls Houston, Walks Alone, Copyright, and Highliner to be the volume movers for young sires. The Hereford bulls Cyrus & Currency are both unreal Hereford bulls who'll improve foot & leg structure with plenty of muscle.

Many of you have seen the "Semen Demon" ad in the Livestock Plus. Thought you'd be interested to know that as of today there are about 750 votes, with the "girl" ad leading the votes by around a 100.

Jigsaw

Just a reminder that Jigsaw is TH & PHA Free.  I had a typo in our 2009 Sire Directory.  He makes awesome heifers and will sire steers on thick females.
