I have found two corrections in our new sire directory and I apologize for the error. The owners of Simmental bull DJ Salution say he is homozygous black. We are hearing positive calf reports on him as well. Club calf bull Jigsaw is TH & PHA Free. He is correctly identified on our website. -Lance |

| Why have I not heard anyone giving any credit to the dam of the Barragree heifer that has been winning this year. She is out of an older cow purchased at Stevenson's Angus, and Horsley was smart enough to cross up her decent phenotype, extraordinary milking ability and maternal numbers, with a bull with a show phenotype. So much for the opinion I hear time and time again that you can't raise a show calf out of a western or production oriented cow. Like always, if you start with the right cow you can do whatever you want with them. |

I'm receiving many notes on this blog that you need a directory. I am unable to read your email addresses on here, so please just email Mindy to receive a catalog. She'll send them out immediately. Her email address is on our homepage. Thanks, Lance |

Cattle Visions has had a great Red Angus show. NBAR Hamley sired the Grand Champion Senior Get of Sire AND Grand Champion Junior Get of Sire. Everyone is looking hard at these Hamley calves. They are extremely fancy fronted, sound, deep and thick. The Grand Champion Bull is Majestic Lightning. We'll have semen available on him soon. He also won the NILE in Montana and the NAILE in Kentucky. Mulberry calves looked great, with some winning divisions. -Lance |
