ALCON sires very well balanced progeny with outstanding
performance. He works well against medium to large framed
females. No birth weight issues have been noted with ALCON
and his birth weight epd continues to fall as more progeny
are placed on AHIR. His calves have outperformed his sire in
our program. Long yearling sons have averaged over $2400
from our private treaty sales. Carcass ribeye area and
percent retail product continues to increase as more progeny
are scanned. He sires excellent disposition in his progeny.
Mature weight is 2450 lbs with a 6.3 frame score. The
average birth weight of his bull calves has been 79 lbs and
his heifer calves 70 lbs. Individual performance: Bwt-85
